GOT MILK?

It's an old familiar question in marketing now: Got Milk? How do you take an iconic, decades-long campaign and show the audience something fun and new? Laundry partnered with GALLEGOS United to help answer this very question! We embarked on a journey of exploration combining everything from live-action tabletop shoots, to all CG environments, to 2D anime characters. Truly an every trick-in-the-book project with an amazing design/animation team led by ECD and co-founder Tony Liu.  With so many milk substitutes in the market these days, there's always something special about the real thing.

While concept art, illustration, and animation of all types were the basis of our approach, shooting as many elements as possible was key. Not just to supplement and power our animation and VFX, but also adding realistic shots created a nice contrast to the joke we were aiming for with the knock off milk.

FINAL ART

Combining both shot elements, and AI inspiration, we rebuilt everything from scratch to create these series of final scenes. A combination of 3d, 2d, photography, film and just about every medium in between.
